Damon Salvatore has been a Vampire since 1864. Damon has had a bad relationship with his brother Stefan Salvatore ever since.
Damon is currently the legal guardian of Jeremy Gilbert and the boyfriend of Stefan's ex-girlfriend Elena Gilbert.
Early Life[]
Damon was unkowingly a Witch in his human life. He despised his father, and vise versa. He was close with Stefan and Katherine Pierce, though she drove a wedge between the brothers.

The Vampire Diaries (Taylor Manton's)[]
Season 5[]
Damon is tricked, along with Jeremy Gilbert, by Silas to help him find Amara. The two Psychics, Silas and Amara, send Damon insane. Silas calcifies Damon and traps him in the tomb under Fell's Church.
Damon works as a spy during his brief visits between this side and The Other Side, only being seen by Matt and Jeremy, as well us, unknowingly, Qetsiyah. When Bonnie Bennett returns from The Other Side, she frees Damon using Magic.
Damon helps to take down Katherine and Nadia, however, he loses someone he loves in the process.
